Dr. Victor Owino is a Nutrition Specialist at the IAEA where he has served for the past 9 years, supporting Member States to use stable isotopes and related nuclear techniques in generating information needed to tackle malnutrition in all its forms. Dr. Owino has over 20 years’ experience in food and nutrition and has worked in industry, non-governmental organizations and as a professor and researcher at universities in Kenya. A fellow of the International Nutrition Foundation, Dr. Owino holds BSc Food Science and Technology from University of Nairobi, MSc Food Science and Technology from University of Ghent, MBA Leadership and Management from York St John’s University and a PhD in Nutrition from the University of London. He has over 50 publications in high impact journals.
